An idea. A connection.
QR codes with your own domain
A branded QR link can show your own domain before a visitor opens it. The domain in the code and the destination website have different jobs: one identifies the link, the other serves the content. QRinio connects a verified hostname to your account or workspace.
Updated:
example.com
Illustrative address: qr.example.com/r/summer. The printed address stays the same when its destination changes; this example domain is not connected.
How it works
- 01
Choose a dedicated subdomain and add it in domain settings.
- 02
Complete the displayed DNS checks and arrange HTTPS routing to QRinio.
- 03
Select the verified domain when creating a new dynamic code, then test it from another network.
What to keep in mind
Domain registration, DNS and HTTPS hosting are separate from creating a QRinio account. Keep the hostname and its certificate working for as long as printed codes are used.
Frequently asked questions
- Does changing my default domain update printed codes?
- No. A printed code keeps its encoded hostname. Keep the old domain connected; changing a destination does not rewrite the image.
